Jim Turner Biography   Jim Turner was born in Lindsborg, Kansas.  He attended the Lindsborg public schools and Bethany College.  Afterward, he served in the U.S. Navy for four years as a photographer.  In 1972 he purchased an existing photography studio in Lindsborg.  Since that time he has operated Turner Photography, photographing families, events, seniors, weddings, and public relations photography for Bethany College and has many commercial and industrial clients that call on him for PR and advertising photography.   Recently, Jim has begun developing a long term dream of mastering Fine Art black and white (and color) photography skills, and has many landscapes, still lifes, and portraits in his portfolio.  He wishes to concentrate his "art" in the Smoky Valley area of Kansas specifically, and in Kansas in general.  Jim makes his home on the northwest edge of Lindsborg with his wife Jan.   For additional information contact: Turner Photography Brick Street Gallery 129 N.
